La Provençale

Provence, France

A House in Provence

A peaceful Provençal hideaway surrounded by oak trees and Mediterranean gardens, within easy reach of Saint Tropez and the beaches of Pampelonne.

Hidden within one hectare of private wooded grounds, La Provençale is a relaxed country house made for long summer days with family and friends.

Surrounded by mature oak trees and gardens, life here naturally moves outdoors. Mornings by the pool turn into long lunches beneath the trees, followed by a game of pétanque and dinner on the terrace.

And when you want a little more life, the village of La Garde Freinet is just minutes away, with Saint Tropez and the beaches of Pampelonne close enough for a day by the sea.

INSIDE LA PROVENÇALE

La Provençale has the easy, informal character of a true South of France home.

At its heart is a large and bright reception room, opening onto the gardens and the many terraces surrounding the house. The interiors are comfortable and understated, with plenty of space to gather together as well as quieter corners when you want them.

Outside and inside flow naturally into one another, making the house particularly suited to summer living.

ROOMS WITH A VIEW

The house accommodates eight guests across four double bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Bright and spacious, the bedrooms overlook the surrounding park and gardens, keeping the atmosphere peaceful even when the house is full.

Two bedrooms have air conditioning, while portable air conditioning units and fans are available throughout the rest of the house.

UNDER THE PROVENÇAL SUN

The house sits within one hectare of private wooded grounds, filled with mature oak trees, flowers and several terraces offering both sun and shade throughout the day.

At the centre is the swimming pool and pool house with its own bar, creating a natural gathering place for long afternoons outside.

There is also a private pétanque court and barbecue, setting the scene for exactly the sort of slow, uncomplicated summer days that Provence does best.

THE PROVENÇAL LIFE

La Provençale offers the best of two very different sides of the South of France.

Stay close to home and discover the slower rhythm of La Garde Freinet, with its weekly markets, little restaurants and village streets, or walk towards Miremer for views stretching across the surrounding hills towards the Gulf of Saint Tropez.

When the coast calls, Saint Tropez and the beaches of Pampelonne are close enough for lunch by the sea, an afternoon at a beach club or an evening in town before retreating to the peace of the hills.

BETWEEN PROVENCE & ST TROPEZ

Set between Grimaud and La Garde Freinet, La Provençale lies in the hills above the Gulf of Saint Tropez, surrounded by the wooded landscape of the Massif des Maures.

La Garde Freinet is less than five minutes away, giving you easy access to its markets, restaurants and village life, while Saint Tropez and Pampelonne are approximately 20 kilometres from the house.
