ACCOMODATION
Nestled in the heart of the countryside, you will stay in Relais della Rossa, a charming 18th-century rectory and perfect retreat for a relaxing weekend with friends in the heart of Piedmont.
With three reception rooms and six spacious double bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom, the house offers comfort and privacy for all guests.
ITINERARY
THURSDAY
Check-in at the house from 2 PM onwards
Car rental is essential for exploring the area. The closest airports are Turin Caselle (67 km) and Milan Malpensa (135 km)
Enjoy the coziness of the house and the incredible view of the Monferrato hills from the garden. Don't miss the chance to taste Vermouth Parigi, a white vermouth or rent an electric bike to explore the area at your own pace.
Dinner at a nearby local restaurant (local: Trattoria Tre Colli or high end Cantina Nicola)
FRIDAY
High Monferrato and Langhe
Optional breakfast in the Conservatory (8:30 AM - 9:30AM)
9:30 AM departure to Canelli (50km), renowned for its sparkling white wines stored in underground cellars called “underground cathedrals”
Visit to Cantina Bosca: private tour of the winery with optional wine tastings.
Lunch at a local restaurant near by Canelli ( Relais Santo Stefano or Ristorante Da Bardon)
3 PM departure towards Alba (31km), with a scenic road trip through the Langhe hills and stops at iconic landmarks like Cappella Delle Brunate or visit at Ceretto winery.
Dinner in the Langhe (bistro gourmet: Campanac or 1 star Michelin: Ciau del Tornavento)
SATURDAY
Monferrato Truffle Hunting Experience
Optional breakfast in the Conservatory (8:30 AM - 10 AM)
10:30 AM meeting point at Tenuta Pavesio 1843. Departure for truffle hunting in private reserves aboard an Old Defender. Walk alongside the "Trifulau" to learn about the history, traditions, and ancient techniques of white truffle hunting.
Return to the estate for a visit to the historic vineyards and apiary. Lunch at the family winery featuring truffle dishes with wine pairings.
Afternoon: Visit the village of Cocconato, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Return home for dinner at a local restaurant nearby (Cascina Rosengana or Osteria Aleramo)
SUNDAY
Optional breakfast in the Conservatory (8:30 AM - 10 AM)
Free morning: an opportunity to rent electric bikes for a tour to the Santi Nazario e Celso Church (3 km) or enjoy a relaxing morning in the gardens, immersed in the enchanting scenery of the Monferrato hills, crisscrossed with vineyards and local churches.

Lunch and SPA afternoon at Relais Saint’Uffizio (20km), 2 Michelin stars restaurant and indulge in a nature escape at Aquanatura SPA
