Hidden away on the island of Gran Roque, Casa del Faro is a charming five bedroom home in the heart of Venezuela's extraordinary Los Roques archipelago.
With its tropical gardens, open living spaces and rooftop terrace overlooking the Caribbean Sea and the island's iconic lighthouse, the house captures everything we love about island life.
Days are spent exploring deserted islands, kitesurfing across turquoise lagoons or simply enjoying the sea, while evenings are reserved for sunset drinks on the rooftop and long dinners prepared by your private chef.
THE LIVING SPACES
Spread across three levels, Casa del Faro combines traditional Caribbean architecture with natural materials, beautiful wooden details and relaxed open spaces.
The heart of the home is its spacious living and dining area, where a striking wooden dining table brings everyone together for long lunches and dinners prepared by the private chef.
A fully equipped kitchen, bar and tropical interior gardens create a welcoming atmosphere, with the house opening naturally towards its outdoor spaces.
Comfortable, informal and full of character, this is a home designed around the simple pleasures of island living.
THE OUTDOOR SPACES
One of Casa del Faro's most special features is its rooftop terrace, with panoramic views across Gran Roque, the Caribbean Sea and the island's historic lighthouse.
It is the perfect place to begin the morning with a coffee or end the day watching the sunset over the archipelago.
Throughout the house, tropical gardens and open air spaces bring a little of the island indoors, creating a lovely connection between the interiors and the surrounding Caribbean landscape.
THE BEDROOMS
Casa del Faro accommodates up to thirteen guests across five individually arranged ensuite bedrooms, all with air conditioning.
Three bedrooms feature king size beds with an additional single bed, while the remaining two are arranged as twin rooms, offering flexibility for families and groups of friends.
Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, providing a comfortable retreat after long days on the water.
An additional service room with twin beds is also available for staff.
THE EXPERIENCE
Los Roques is a little piece of Caribbean paradise, where turquoise lagoons, white sandbanks and deserted islands stretch as far as the eye can see.
For kitesurfers, it is a dream destination. Warm waters, steady winds and vast shallow lagoons provide the perfect playground, whether you're taking your first lesson or heading off on a downwind safari between the islands.
Beyond the kite, days can be spent exploring the archipelago by private boat, snorkelling in crystal clear waters, paddleboarding or enjoying a little sport fishing. Your house manager can arrange everything, including private excursions and massages for those who prefer a slower pace.
Return to Gran Roque in the late afternoon for sunset drinks on the rooftop, followed by a freshly prepared dinner from your private chef.
Life here is wonderfully simple. A different island every day, the sea at your feet and very little reason to check the time.

The villa is just 2 km from Gran Roque Airport, reached by a short 20-minute charter or private flight from Caracas, Venezuela's main international gateway.
Private transportation can also be arranged upon request, making the journey to this remote Caribbean paradise wonderfully straightforward.
